After growing up in Gilgandra, Kay moved to the Macleay over 35 years ago and made the netball courts he home throughout that time.
Kay held many positions and roles within the Association over the years.
Being the current vice-president, there wasn't many roles she didn't hold at some stage within the Association throughout the years with other roles including representative coach, manager, National C Umpire and ultimate canteen lady.
"She was always trying to make light of everything, if the girls she'd coach and mentor fell over she'd try and lighten the mood all the time," Macleay Netball's Sonya Murphy said.
"Everything with her was suck it up and get on with it.
"She was always putting everyone else first, if things needed to be done she got them done.
"When we went away to state titles she was always the one pulling apart the chickens for the kids to have sandwiches when they came back to the tent.
"She had a lot of fun with the Golden Oldies, and went on a some fun overseas trips with them.
"She was always lightening the mood when things got tough.
"It's a huge loss for us as an association, she did everything, if you needed a question answered she'd be there.
"If Macleay Netball had another name it was Kay Iverach."
Macleay Netball Association also recently completed the sale and removal of their current clubhouse with a new complex and courts on the way.
"Her not being here for the new complex is heartbreaking, so much hard work has gone into preparing for that over the years," Sonya said.
Kay is survived by her daughter Brooke, son Scott, her mum Val, her grandchildren - Taylah, Corbin, Beau, Cooper, Freya and Arlo.
A funeral service was held for Kay on Friday.
