The Kempsey Golf Club officials and the sponsor of the day Brandon Ashe from Ranbuild Sheds were very happy with the large turnout of players last Saturday in the 18 hole 2 person ambrose event.

The 132 players who took part on the day found the course in tip top condition and with this in mind the scores on the day were very good.
A very big thank you goes to The team at Ranbuild Sheds for the sponsorship and the volunteers for there continued help during the week on the course.
Taking out the day was the pairing of Ashe and Andrew Kirkman who combined very well to have a really great net score of 58 for there 18 holes.
The runner up spot on the day went to the pair of Darren And Chris Holten who recorded a net score of 613/4 for the event.
On the day the pairing of Dan Baker and Andrew Watts were declared the gross winners after their round of 68, 4 under par.
Congratulations to all the winners and the the winners of the NTPs at the 3rd hole were Kirkman'A', Ben Pierpoint'B', Wayne Hutley'C' & Jill Stringer 'L'.
On the 8th hole winners were Peter Livermore 'A' & Dean Riordan 'B'.
Dean Greenhalgh'A', Troy Worthing 'B' & Jenny Preston 'L' were winners at the 11th hole while at the tough 16th hole the winners were Kirkman'A', Jake Megaloconomos 'B' & Bert Quinlan 'C'.
This weeks winner of the super tee NTP was Hillary Dew with a very nice shot to the 18th green for 2.
In the weekly ball competition the winners were teams with a net score of 651/2 or better and they can be collected from the pro shop at the club anytime along with any unclaimed vouchers from the event.
Tomorrow at the Kempsey Golf Club will be a very special day with the staging of " Doing it for Jarrod Day".
The Open 18 hole Medley 4bbb Stableford and Individual event will see the players help raise money for this special charity which was set up after former top Aussie professional Jarrod Lyle passed away.
The day which is being organised by Bradley Dyet at the club will have a number of top prizes on the day and a very special Flag played for on the day and if possible all players are being urged to wear something yellow for this day.

A reminder from the club that the COVID-19 rules are still in place at the club please check in before you enter the club.
Coming up on Saturday November 6 will be the 2020-21 playoff for the gold medals in each grade.
The list of players eligible for the playoff is up at the club so please check it out so you don't miss out.
The event will be a 18 hole Single Stroke event also for the Monthly Medals in each grade on the day.
