Macquarie Coast Stingers T20 selector Aaron Hagenbach says the uncertain weather forecast won't have much of an impact on the final team announcement for the Regional Bash in Ballina on December 4 and 5.

With the preliminary finals washed out last weekend, Hagenbach and the Mid North Coast Cricket Council have had to go to Plan B in a bid to complete the Mid North Coast T20 series.
The final three matches of the series have been rescheduled for Sunday (November 28), although the team has been all-but selected.
Josh Hyde will captain the side while Michael Rees will be vice-captain with Hagenbach admitting there was an emphasis on those who can make an impact with either bat or ball.
"The squad we're aiming for, we're looking for those x-factor players because that's what wins you Regional Bash games - they're the game-changers," Hagenbach said.
"While we are looking at youth, there is also that element of looking for the guys that can change a game."
A largely youthful side is expected to be announced with a sprinkling of experience included as the Stingers look to improve on their woeful record in the T20 competition in recent years.
"There would be a handful of younger players where it would be great to see them (play Regional Bash) because they have played really well in the first couple of games," Hagenbach said.
"But do you select them this year or wait another year before putting them in?"
Weather permitting, the Hornets will play the Rays at Andrews Park in Wauchope on Sunday from midday before the Huntsmans and Scorpions will clash at Oxley Oval from 12.30pm.
The grand final will then be played from 4.30pm on Sunday afternoon (November 28).
"The biggest question mark we have is if the grounds will be available to get onto," Hagenbach said.
"But we're looking forward to next year where hopefully COVID won't be around and we can schedule these games in that late September, early October period.
"Now everyone knows how the draft picks happen, I think next year will be bigger and better as a result."
