This year was the fourth year of the event and it was played in very good spirits with both team captains Darren Holten and Tim Mecham thanking everyone for playing in the right spirit on the day and hope it's just as good next year with a few more teams expected to play.
At the end of the day the winners of the shield for 2021 was the All Stars team with a victory of 71/2 matches to the Indigenous team score of 51/2 matches.
This makes it 2 wins a piece after the 4 years of the competition and with the event going from strength to strength each year it will be a close affair again next year.
A very special mention goes to our green keeper ( Graeme) for a wonderful job in having the course in tip top condition for this special day.
With 110 players players hitting off on Saturday in the Tim Mecham sponsored Open 18 hole Medley 2 person Ambrose event the scores were again very good.
