After a season with only one loss, the Mustangs 18s side were rewarded for their year with the minor-premiership trophy. Centre Chris Bull finished top try-scorer with 10 four-pointers.
Shane Davis-Caldwell was highest point-scorer on 94 with seven tries and 33 conversions.
A stellar season for the half-back also saw him awarded joint-winner of player of the year after accumulating 11 points, equal with Old Bar Pirates Xavier Wells.
"He deserved it, he had a good year," 18s coach Reuben Jones said.
"He played quite a bit of first grade this year, it was pleasing for him to see his hard work paid off."
Amazingly, both Davis-Caldwell and Chris Bull will still be eligible for 18s next season.
Jones himself was among the recipients on the night, named Group Three volunteer of the year, sharing the award with Old Bar Pirates Rob Moorehead.
"I didn't expect to be getting an award for it, I didn't even know there was an award for it," he said.
"I was pretty shocked when I was getting called up on the stage, I thought I was just there for the 18s but I'm very thankful."
Recently the Mustangs held their annual general meeting with Jones voted president. Allan Lockwood (vice-president), Leonard Wright (secretary), Dominique Lockwood (treasurer), Miranda Abbotts (registrar), Peter McMahon (ground manager), Karen Dufty (canteen co-ordinator) and Rodney Myers (head trainer) hold the other committee positions.
2021 first grade head coach Anthony Cowan will continue on with the role after Macleay Valley made the announcement on Sunday night.
Cowan will be joined by Adam 'Chicken' McMurray, both premiership winners with the Mustangs, as the latter takes on the first grade manager role.
"Chick's been helping for a while at junior league level so he's pretty keen to work with these young juniors coming through," Jones said.
"Someone like him is invaluable with experience, especially being a forward.
"They should work well together."
Macleay Valley have also confirmed Kempsey-born former Australian Jillaroos representative Simone Smith will coach the women's side.
