Club officials, along with head green keeper Graeme Croad, made the difficult decision on Wednesday to give the members and the visitors plenty of time.
With Sunday's washout the club has now set down Sunday December 12 as the new date for this year's Open Day.
All intending players can now book in at the club for this day and to book a cart for the day.
With the wet weather last weekend the club did however play the 18 hole Single Stableford event on Saturday with only a small field.
The players did however have to contend with very heavy conditions and a little rain in the afternoon.
With the small field taking part the winner of the event on the day was Ashley Elford with a very good round of 38 points in the tough conditions.
With 37 points on a countback the runner up player was Conrad Tamblyn.
Saturday at the club the members and visitors will hopefully play in the 2021 Team Spirit Sports 18 hole Single Stroke event for the Monthly Medals in each grade.
All players are asked to check with the club for the playing conditions on the day and all intending players wishing to play can book in now at the club or go online to book in for your round.
A reminder to all players that the Open Single Stableford event is held every Thursday with a walk up start from 7am.
Again you can book in at the club for this event or for more information about the upcoming events at the club please give the club a call anytime.
Coming up on Saturday December 18 is the Bradley Dyet & Caleb Foran Open 18 hole four person Ambrose event for the Christmas Hams.
A reminder to members that the club will be closed on Saturday December 25 for Christmas Day.
