Time to get your aprons on, mixers out, and start baking Kempsey.
To celebrate the festive season, the Country Women's Association is partnering with St Vincent De Paul for a Great Christmas Bake Off.
Entry is free for everyone and there are some great prizes on offer.
The categories include best Christmas treat (U14s category), best Christmas themed cupcake and best plain/chocolate Christmas themed cake.
Baked submissions can be brought to the Kempsey CWA Hall on Friday December 10 from 3pm-5pm and Saturday, December 11 from 9am-10am.
CWA branch president Colleen Waterson said they are already receiving entries.
"This will be the first one we've had and I think it's wonderful, we are just trying to get the community to come together again," Mrs Waterson said.
"We will have one of our CWA ladies to judge it, and people will find out in the afternoon if they have won a prize."
Vinnies Kempsey representative Chontelle Shore said she was excited to see the range of cakes.
"We are looking forward to it, it's going to be a really fun and uplifting event," Ms Shore said.
"This is what the community needs after what we have all been through over the year."
She said they are aiming to have prizes for every child that enters.
Also the famous CWA scones and handicrafts will be available for purchase. Drop by for a chat and a catch up.
