Police have charged a man wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant following investigations into alleged break and enter offences in the Macleay area.

At about 2.40pm on Sunday, December 12, 2021, a man and a woman allegedly entered a home at West Kempsey.
Police were told the pair pushed and threatened the occupant, before stealing personal items and fleeing the scene.
Mid North Coast Police District were notified and commenced an investigation into the incident.
During the investigation, police were notified of an aggravated break and enter at a home at Yarravel, that occurred about 9am on Sunday, January 2, 2022.
Police were told four people allegedly threatened the occupants with a firearm, before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
Following extensive inquiries, police attended a home at South Kempsey on Wednesday January 12.
Police arrested a 25-year-old man and seized a machete.
The man was taken to Kempsey Police Station and charged with an outstanding arrest warrant, two counts of aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence.
He appeared at Port Macquarie Local Court on January 13, where he was formally refused bail and is due to reappear at Kempsey Local Court on Wednesday, February 23.
