Cleo Schubert has been recognised for her achievements during the month of June.
The South West Rocks Public School student competes in the 8 and 9 age group and won her school cross country carnival, the Lower North Coast Cross Country carnival and on Friday June 9 she travelled to Murwillumbah to compete in the North Coast Carnival.
Cleo continued her winning ways and become the cross country champion of her age group from Port Macquarie to the Queensland border.
She will compete at the State PSSA Carnival at Eastern Creek on July 21.
The Kempsey Macleay RSL presented Cleo with a trophy and a $100 gift voucher to spend at their restaurant.

A sportsperson of the year will be decided upon in January 2018 with an additional voucher of $500 for the restaurant awarded to the winner.
A panel of judges from the Macleay Argus will determine the monthly and year winners.
Nominations need to be submitted by the first day of the following month.
