Macksville Fire Brigade responded to the incident.
“On arrival, the whole building roof had collapsed in,” Captain Bill Lenthall told the Guardian.
“Fortunately, there were pallet racks right up the middle of the building and when it sagged in, it rested on the stacking.
“Otherwise there would have been much more damage.”
There were several employees in the building at the time, but no one was hurt or injured.
The Fire Brigade put up barrier tape, deeming the building unsafe, and isolated the water, gas and electricity lines to the building.
The Main Star shed owner was not available for comment.
