“Considering the weather, it all went off really well,” president of the Mid North Coast Machinery Restoration Club, Chris Garrett, said.
The club hosts the annual event, which has just had its 19th outing, and its 13th at the Macksville Showground.
“There were more tractors (119) than ever before plus well over 100 motors.
“The aircraft engine we had attracted a lot of attention, especially when we started it up, and people seemed to enjoy the special section of International Harvesters - some well-restored old ones and others still in their ‘working clothes’.”
Chris said the pavilion and trade sections were also strong this year and noted the effort being made to include more things for women visitors.
“There was a quilting bus there and we hope the Valley Quilters will make it next year.
“We want to be able to offer something for everyone.”
