Playing at Dangar Reserve, nothing could separate the sides at the end of regular time with the score deadlocked at 2-2.
Following a tense nil all extra time period, the sides lined up their most proficient penalty takers for the shoot.
A combination of nerves and strong goalkeeping saw every player from each side take a penalty with the visitors eventually getting the better of their opponents to progress through to this week’s grand final.
There was better news for the reserve grade side as they put four goals past Wallis Lake while only conceding one to make it through to this week’s grand final against Port United.
