About 10.40pm, two workers from the Bowling Club left the rear of the club and walked to their vehicle in the rear car park, when they were approached by four men wearing hooded jumpers who also had their faces covered.
One of the hooded men was armed with what appeared to be a shotgun and pointed it at the heads of both victims.
Police said the bandits demanded the keys to the premises but were informed by both victims that they did not have a set of keys to re-enter the premises.
After that they demanded the purse and car keys from the female victim.
A short time later all four offenders left the location in the victim’s vehicle, a 1999 silver Toyota Camry Station wagon, heading west on Stuarts Point Rd.
Police arrived a short time later and a crime scene was established.
The vehicle was recovered on Tuesday morning in Wallace St, Macksville.
