Friday will be a ‘get to know you’ day for locals and visitors alike, with a seafood buffet from 6pm, and raffles from 6.30.
That night there’ll also be free entertainment by special guest Jay B Douglas and ‘walk up’ artists are welcome to take to the stage from 8 o’clock.
Lucky door prizes will be just another reason to kickstart your Easter weekend at the Bowlo.
* Saturday will see the main Macksville Hospital Charity Concert featuring Ron Smythe, Neilly Rich, Amos Morris and Col Carter plus Jay B Douglas and Cheryl Hall.
This big name menu will deliver more than three hours of entertainment.
The doors will open at 6.30pm and entry will be $5.
* Round out the weekend on Easter Sunday with an early start at 8.30 for a bush poets’ breakfast featuring Ray Essery and others. Again, it’s just $5, and as the name suggests, breakfast will be available at the club.
Then it’s a jam-packed afternoon from midday through to 5 o’clock with a Nambucca Valley Country Music Club concert.
Jay B Douglas will line up for thirds, and he’ll share the limelight with Roy Frazen, Tommy Kennedy and Neilly Rich along with plenty of walk up artists and surprise guests. A gold coin donation is all you will need to get in on this music marathon.
