Playing to a packed Memorial Hall audience Honey and Knives, locally-grown talent Jack Carty, Fourplay String Quartet, the Perch Creek Band and more gave festival enthusiasts a taste of what the weekend hold in store.
The evening was MC-ed by the irrepressible Mandy Nolan, much to the pleasure of all.
The fun continued this morning at the local organic markets.
The festival runs for the next three days and includes events by the Bellingen Shire Learning Alliance.
Everything from birds, bees and alternative energy will be explored alongside the fabulous rhythms of The Milk Carton Kids, Ash Grunwald, Emma Donovan and the Putbacks and more.
