Weatherzone meteorologist Tristan Meyers said: “Although Friday looks like starting off quite warm – with the hottest part of the day in the morning and early afternoon – reaching somewhere between 16 to 19 degrees, it will get windy and cold with the arrival of that front.
“Winds could reach between 30 to 40 kilometres per hour.
“Overnight Friday we will see a very cold one (temperature wise).
“After that, temperatures will warm up to around 16 degrees on Saturday but a wind chill factor will make it feel significantly colder.”
With colder temperatures on Saturday, unfortunately Sunday is very likely to remain cool too.
Winds will be mostly from the south or south westerly for much of the week but certainly picking up from Friday.
On the ocean, there will be pulses of swell along with the arrival of the cold front.
There will be a light dusting of snow on the ranges and through to Guyra and Barrington Tops.]
