IT WAS a success last year and organisers are optimistic that this Saturday’s Nambucca Heads Wine, Beer and Food Fair will again draw enthusiastic crowds.

A joint event between Rotary, Ritchies IGA and the Nambucca Heads Island Golf Club, the afternoon, which starts at 1pm until 5pm, will feature seven wine and three beer companies, all keen to profile their products to thirsty visitors.
Accompanying the beverages will be a selection of cheeses, Macnuts delicious treats and a barbeque featuring marinated meats and gourmet sausages.
Rotary representative Edna Stride said the event had been an excellent fundraiser for the charity last year and she was hopeful of a similar achievement this time around.
“Everyone had a great time and we raised $1800 … I know a number of couples who have definitely re-booked,” Edna said.
Tickets are $15 per person on sale at Hello World and Ritchies IGA, as well as at the door.
The Golf Club will be offering its courtesy bus service to guests – ring 6569 4111 to book a seat.
