Last Tuesday, it was a stroke competition – always a thorough examination of a player’s mettle.
Emerging victorious were Rhonda McAuliffe, with a gross score of 101, for a nett return of 77.
Rhonda secured the chocolates on a countback from Ruth Flarrety, who had 113 off the stick.
Nearest the pins were won by Mary Dwyer, while Pat Whalen was rewarded with a ball win.
The women have scheduled the 2016 TEE OFF for Breast Cancer day for Friday, October 21.
Players are asked to gather at 8.30 for a 9am shotgun start. As well as being a competitive tournament, this fixture delivers plenty of fun. If you would like to join the club and contribute to the cause, contact the Macksville Country Club.
