This is the first community fete held at the school for a number of years and the community is fully supportive of the event. There have been donations for raffles and contributions to stalls, and even monetary contributions to make the fete a success.
The Family Fete is being run by the P&C with support of the students and staff.
The aim is to raise money for new technology to support 21st century student learning.
There will be much to see and do at the fete including entertainment from the students and displays from local dance groups and talented artists. There is a mega raffle, silent auction and prizes of community supported products and services. There will be merchandise for sale including homemade handicrafts, sweets Bellingen lolly bags, plants, fresh produce, jams and preserves, lucky bottles, and bon bons. Food and drinks are available from the P&C run barbecue, Tuckshop Bellingen catering, chai tea and cake stall, a coffee cart … and ice cream!
No wonder our students are excited! The P&C would like to invite the broader community to join the Family Fete on October 29 at Bellingen Public School from 10am to 3pm.
