This is only the second open day held at the museum, which is one of the largest private collections in Australia.
The museum includes rare Edison cylinder phonographs, still in working order, an original Berliner disc gramophone c. 1898 – the very first disc gramophone invented (still working!) – as well as a large display of vintage radios from the golden years of radio in Australia.
In all, there are hundreds of exhibits and Brian will be happy to provide tours and demonstrations.
There will also be a sausage sizzle, Devonshire tea, and a range of tasty treats available, as well as a stall with books, CDs and bric-a-brac for sale.
In the event of wet weather, undercover seating is available under a large grape trellis, where you can even pick your own grapes. Parking is no problem, with plenty of spaces right by the river.
Where and when: Saturday. January 14, 9am to 1pm, 60 Yellow Rock Rd, Urunga. For more details phone 2bbb on 6655 0718 or Bernadette on 0447 009 284.
