Police have charged a man after an armed robbery in Nambucca Heads yesterday.

Just after 8.10pm on Monday night, police were called to a fast food outlet on Pacific Highway, Nambucca Heads, following reports of an armed robbery.
It is alleged a man approached the counter and threatened the shop assistant with a knife.
The shop assistant called for the manager who has then attended the front counter.
The man has then allegedly walked behind the counter and taken cash before leaving the store on foot.
Officers from Mid North Coast Local Area Command attended the location and established a crime scene.
A short time later, a 31-year-old man was located on Marshall Way and allegedly found in possession of a knife.
The man was arrested and taken to Macksville Police Station.
He has been charged with robbery while armed and will appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court today.
