The seven-year-old competed in the invitational event against people two years his senior and managed to produce the fastest lap time of the day.
Jayden finished in the top three in all three rounds on the day and was able to overcome a slow start in his final round to finish in third place.
“He got a bad jump and was at the back of the pack,” Jayden’s uncle Dylan Holder explained.
“That is an area he will continue to work on.”
Jayden will compete at the New South Wales and Australian titles in 2017 but first he will compete in Kempsey’s Akubra classic in March.
The junior is proud to be one of the only Indigenous competitors in his age group.
Jayden has rode dirt bikes since he was two and wishes to follow in his cousin Chris Holder’s footsteps and compete in speedway racing, once he is eligible.
