Watson and Morrow are stalwarts of rallycross in Australia and competed alongside Peter Brock and Allan Moffat in Rallycross events across several states starting in 1969.
Rallycross became popular and stretched until the early 80’s.
Australia’s only National Rallycross Championship was contested at Tailem Bend S.A in 1979, and was won by Larry Perkins in a VW Beetle.
In 2016, Raleigh Rallycross held a four-round Rallycross series and attracted healthy car fields of more than 30 for the first year of reintroduced Rallycross in Australia.
We invite everyone to come and check out Rallycross.
Action on the day starts at 10am.
