Everyone knew James Benson was in the last group and fully expected this current club champion to have a big say in the day’s results.
Brad Graham and Dick Myhill had already posted 73 each, then along came James with another 73. A 3 way play-off saw a worthy winner in Brad Graham, collecting the A Grade Gross, along with his name on the honour board. Dick Myhill was all smiles due to his best round ever, 73/61 to claim the A Grade Nett.
B Grade winner was Don Keast 78 Gross. Dave Knox returned 78/64 to take the B Grade Nett. Results for these boys were decided on a count-back. Good scores for the less than ideal condition of the greens.
C GRADE winner was Nathan Smith 82 Gross. Deputy Mayor, Ashley Williams claimed the Nett with a 58.
