After a recording breaking season on the beach Laura Buls has taken out the Kempsey Crescent Head Nipper of the Year.

The youngster was also presented age champion for the under-12s at the club presentation held at the Crescent Head surf club on Sunday.
More than 100 people turned out to the presentation to cheer for nippers who have been stand outs this season as well as great sports.
Siblings Riley and Taylah Moffitt were not only awarded club champions but they also took out their respective age groups in the under-9 and under-10.
Taylah was also awarded carnival champion while the perpetual trophies for encouragement award went to Jessica Terrason and the most improved club nipper was Joaquin Lecciones.
Age champions were Karri Stevens (under-6), Jaxon Reynolds and Levi Henry (under-7), Wilton Townsend and Zac Connolly (under-8), Riley Moffit (under-9), Taylah Moffitt (under-10), William Terrason (under-11), Laura Buls (under 12), Sarah Buls (under-13) and Ronald Moran (under-14).
Runner-up age champions: Harrison Moffitt (under-6), Alannah Koivu (under-9), Briella Petterson (under-10), Jade McLean (under-11), Isabella Guyatt (under -12), Jessica Terrason (under13), Christina Barlow (under-14).
Each nipper was presented with an Australian Lifesaving Academy junior surf education participation certificate.
The new committee was elected before the presentation kicked off with Alison Koivu and Steve Pellen as co-presidents, Shelley McLean vice president, Samantha Townsend secretary and Alex Wyatt as committee member.
