Falls of over 300ml were recorded in many towns in the Valley at the last big weather event, and the drops are set to keep tumblin’ down this weekend.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, showers will be a near given today, tomorrow and on Sunday – and most likely into Monday as well.
TODAY
Cloudy. Patchy morning fog about higher ground. Very high (90%) chance of showers, becoming less likely late this afternoon and evening. The chance of a thunderstorm about higher ground during the morning and afternoon. Winds south to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h tending south to southeasterly in the late afternoon then becoming light in the late evening. Daytime maximum temperatures 20 to 25.
SATURDAY
Partly cloudy. Patchy fog inland in the early morning. Medium (40%) chance of showers. Light winds. Overnight temperatures falling to between 12 and 17 with daytime temperatures reaching the low to high 20s.
SUNDAY
Cloudy. The chance of fog in the morning, mainly inland. High (70%) chance of showers. Light winds becoming west to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h during the morning then becoming light during the afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to between 14 and 18 with daytime temperatures reaching the mid to high 20s.
