Steele Park was the most recent beneficiary with parents and supervisors accompanying children to pick up rubbish from the park and surrounding streets.
Last week South Kempsey received the same treatment.
The program was organised to help teach kids the appropriate way to dispose of litter and to keep it off the streets and parks.
The children wore appropriate gloves to ensure their safety when picking up rubbish and to prevent sharp objects from causing damage.
After the cleaning was finished, activities were held for the kids to enjoy and a barbecue and fresh fruit was provided for all involved.
