The Macksville Show is back in town on Friday, April 28, and Saturday, April 29.
Head to the Macksville Showground, as this is one of the premier agricultural and entertainment events to be held on the Mid North Coast.
The show offers the full agricultural experience with plenty of cattle and livestock competitions and events.

Keep the kids entertained for hours with the many rides and events that are on offer as part of the show.
Show president, Michael Ettelson says preparations have been underway for months preparing the show ring, grounds and pavilion.
“There will be lots of major carnival rides and plenty of things for the kids to see and do” Michael says.
On Friday there will be all the ring events featuring horses, cattle and the main pavilion will feature local agriculture, crafts, chickens and the school exhibits.
In the afternoon enjoy the horse sporting and family camp draft. For the very first time at the Macksville Show, there will be open horse sporting events on Saturday afternoon with prize money. Categories include the open flag race, open bending race, open barrel race, rescue race and open walk, trot and lead with $50 prize money going to each winner.
This is totally new to the show and there is expected to be a huge turn out with lots of fun for all ages.
Ribbons will be awarded for all livestock categories and there will be stalls to to visit selling merchandise and show bags.
Saturday the rides start and sideshow alley will be in full swing.
Competitions will continue in the main show rings and the famous wood chop will also take place.
The main entertainment will be the lumberjack show which will have three sessions starting on Saturday afternoon.
Saturday evening in the ring there will be six bar horse jumping, dog trials and the shows’ renown magical firework display.
Following the spectacular fireworks, the last event for the night in the ring, will be the destructive demolition derby.
Witness the crashing and smashing of metal or if you are game enough, why not enter yourself.
There is a $40 entry free and all vehicles must be on the showground for inspection by 2pm the Saturday of the show.
The Mackville show promises something for everyone, so bring the kids and take part in the family fun.
Attracting exhibitors from all over, the show boasts many key events in the area of horses and livestock including cattle and goats, dogs, chickens.
