- Maureen Dummett
The two teams were excited to qualify through to the state competition but Honorary Secretary of Macleay District Women’s Bowling Association Maureen Dummett said the sides realise they will face tough opposition.
"It is a very strong competition, I have made it several times and it always tests your ability,” Dummett said.
"We were over the moon when we realised we had advanced, we all can’t wait.”
The two sides will join 15 other teams from regions across the state in each grade.
The 16 sides are divided into groups where they will play against each other with the winning team from each group advancing into the semi-finals.
The winner of the semi-final will compete in the final and for the right to be crowned the state champion.
