With the long weekend break and the bye last weekend, the Eagles have had an extended opportunity to rest injuries and recover from a less than successful first half of the season.
The Eagles are still on the verge of the top five and they have the opportunity this Saturday to resurrect their year, while the reserves are also in with an opening to further their claims.
The Under 18s are in the five and with the recent withdrawal of the Bellinger Valley juniors from the competition, and a win this weekend will see them firm in this race.
The Macksville League Tag side continue to improve from week to week and while they are still searching for their first victory, the ladies remain committed and determined in their quest.
Supporters will have the opportunity this Saturday to watch the Bowraville 14s and 16s in action from 9am and the Ladies League Tag will kick off at 11, with the three senior men’s grades to follow.
Meanwhile, the best U14/15 Group sides from regional NSW and Victoria will go head-to-head in three divisions at Cessnock on July 1.
