The Magpies head into the match as the only undefeated side left in the competition while the Boardriders are still winless.
Lower Macleay’s co-coach Zac McKiernan is confident his side will earn the victory but he doesn’t want them to get ahead of themselves.
“These can be danger matches, when you head into a match too confident and thinking the game will be won without playing, you can easily find a way to lose,” McKiernan said.
“We should be able to put a good performance together and earn the victory.”
Next weekend marks the halfway point of the Hastings League season and it will be a tough match with the Magpies to face the second placed Kendall Blues in a top of the table clash.
The competition had a break with the long weekend and representative matches played over the last fortnight.
