POLICE arrested a 35-year-old male driver at the intersection of Old Coast Rd and the Pacific Highway, North Macksville, after he tested positive to a random breath test at about 6.30pm on Saturday.

The accused underwent a breath analysis at Macksville Police Station where he returned a high range reading of 0.167. Checks on the driver revealed he had never held a driver’s licence and his vehicle was unregistered.
The man was charged with a number of traffic offences and is to appear before Macksville Local Court on August 24.
Domestic incident
A 46-year-old man was arrested on Saturday at about 7.30pm following an alleged domestic assault at a Bowraville residence. A 49-year-old woman sustained minor injuries during the incident.
The man was charged at Macksville Police Station and is to appear before Macksville Local Court on July 20.
Unregistered vehicle
An unregistered vehicle was stopped by police at about 12.45pm on Saturday along Giinagay Way, Nambucca Heads.
Checks upon the 28-year-old female driver revealed her driver’s licence was currently suspended. The accused was issued a court attendance notice for the driving offence and is to appear before Macksville Local Court on July 16. The woman was issued a traffic infringement for the unregistered vehicle.
Low range reading
Police arrested a 70-year-old female driver on the Pacific Highway at Nambucca Heads after she tested positive to a random breath test at about 9.15pm on Friday.
The woman underwent a breath analysis at Nambucca Heads Police Station where she returned a low range reading of 0.076. She was issued a court attendance notice to appear before Macksville Local Court on July 16.
Scotts Head RBT
A 46-year-old male driver was arrested by police at about 6pm last Thursday on Wallace St, Scotts Head, after he tested positive to a random breath test.
The man underwent a breath analysis at Macksville Police Station where he returned a low range reading of 0.058. He was issued a court attendance notice to appear before Macksville Local Court on August 10.
Driver arrested
A 43-year-old male driver was arrested at the intersection of Pacific Highway and Grandview Dr, North Macksville, after he tested positive to a random breath test at about 4pm on Saturday.
The accused underwent a breath analysis at Macksville Police Station and returned a low range reading of 0.076. He was issued a court attendance notice to appear before Macksville Local Court on August 16.
Disqualified driver
Police stopped an unregistered vehicle at the intersection of Rodeo Dr and Bellingen Rd, Bowraville at about 11.15am last Thursday.
Checks on the 38-year-old female driver revealed her driver’s licence was currently disqualified. The accused was issued a court attendance notice for a number of traffic offences and is to appear before Macksville Local Court on August 16.
