Three-year-old Roman Hill is just days away from undergoing surgery to repair a hole in his heart.
Born with the heart defect, the little boy has spent plenty of time with doctors.
But it’s trucks he really loves; specifically, Cleanaway trucks.
On a Facebook page Roman’s mum Becky set up to chronicle her son’s medical journey, she said, “something magical happened to us today”.
“Our 3 year old son Roman is obsessed with bin trucks. Literally plays with them all day, watches them on YouTube, sits in our driveways with us four times every Thursdays waiting for them and even gets them painted on his face.
“Our beautiful friends called up Cleanaway asking if one of the drivers could slow down and wave. Three trucks and a fleet of drivers rocked up on my street to give us tours, beep the horn and teach Roman about them. It was a pretty special surprise. The staff at Cleanaway are amazing.”
Roman will have surgery on Tuesday.
