The largest of the fires is burning a 1060ha area of bush at Parrabel Creek, Moparrabah about 38km from Kempsey.
NPWS crews, as well as items of heavy plant and two aircraft were establishing containment lines on Thursday.
10km to the north there was a 757ha fire at McCoys Creek Road, Mopparabah already under control.
Further north again, at Brassils Creek Moparrabah, a 158ha fire was in the process of being controlled.
On Wednesday, a hazard reduction burn on a vast private property moved through 388ha.
The property owners lost control of the fire for a brief period, before containment lines were re-established.
RFS crews performed reconnaissance yesterday, finding that the blaze was again under control.
The authorities also had a helicopter in the air on Thursday mapping all of the fires in the area because several were situated in inaccessible bushland.
There is a number of other fires in the area, all of which appear to be under control.
