Regular winners of late, Clive Friedman and Brian King, once again took out the competition with an amazing 90 stableford points. They were 15 points clear of their nearest rivals.
Sponsor Tony Adams teamed up with regular partner Tony Abook to take out the front nine with Noel Austin and Max Turner teaming up for the back nine.
Nearest the pin shots on the 4/13th holes went to: A Grade Jake Clarke, B Grade Curtis Ellis and C Grade Brian King. A Grade nearest the pin on the 7/16th went to Jake Clarke, B Grade on the 5/14th to Troy Grace and Shane Langley took out C Grade on the 8/17th.
Thursday's stableford event was taken out by Brian Burns with Ray Chapman taking the nearest the pin.
This Saturday’s event is a stroke round for the monthly medal and spoon sponsored by Trevor and Isobel Ledger of Macksville Wreckers.
Junior footy
MORE than 300 youngsters from Woolgoolga to Kempsey will descend on Coronation Park, Nambucca Heads, on Saturday to play in the Group 2 Junior Rugby League elimination finals.
There are eight teams from the Valley playing in those finals matches (three Nambucca and five Bowraville).
