The decision to cancel this weekend’s action was based on the forecast of 45mm of rain on Friday and an additional 50mm on Saturday.
The tournament will now be held on December 2nd and 3rd.
Kempsey’s Jackson Korn, Ben Taylor and Scott Witchard were selected into the side and they will now miss out on playing for their Premier League side’s on the rescheduled weekend.
Rovers will be without their wicket-keeper Korn for their clash with Port Panthers Pirates while Witchard will miss Macquarie’s game against Port City League Magpies.
Fortunately for Nulla the competition falls on the weekend of their bye and they won’t be forced to play without their captain Taylor.
Premier League action will return on October 28 with Rovers and Nulla searching for their first victories of the season against Wauchope RSL and the Pirates respectively.
As there is no round of the McDonalds Premier Cricket League this weekend, all eyes and cricket fans will be enjoying a feast of local competition cricket.
All three local senior grades will be in action on Saturday.
