Greg posted a gross 75/nett 71 on Saturday, for an overall 228/216. Nearest rival Drew Glasson carded an 85/76, giving him a total of 237/210. Bruce Berry has moved into contention for the nett after posting a 75/68 for a total 235/223. The winner of Saturday’s round was Robert Steele (Korinda Waters) 76/66, with Bruce Berry the runner-up.
Showing out in B grade is Rod Robertson overall 253/211, to be well in front. A pack of players are fighting out the minor placings: Dirk Prummell 262/220, Steve Frost 266/218, Phil Frost 262/223 and Trevor Hopkins 270/222.
The winner on Saturday was Phill Frost with a 86/69 with Peter Morriss 88/71.
Showing a clean pair of heels to all in C grade is Steve Doherty 272/212, well in front of Trevor Peck 295/235, Kerry McCoy 306/234 and Garry Roach 307/238 (all will feature in the seeded group this Saturday).
Saturday’s winner in the grade was Michael Briscoe with 102/70 with Col Edmonds 95/72 in the runner-up spot.
Seeded groups for Saturday in A grade are Greg McCoy, Drew Glasson, Bruce Berry and Nathan Smith. For B grade Rod Robertson, Dirk Prummell, Phil and Steve Frost.

Saturday’s nearest the pins went to Col Wormleaton, Geoff Rackham picked up the jackpot lottery ticket at the 5th sponsored by Nambucca Newsagent, Rod Robertson the 7th, Peter Cleal the 8th, Roger Steele the 13th, Drew Glasson the 15th and Greg McCoy won the all important money shot. Ball rundown went to 75 with John Starr, Dave Mattacott, and Glen Crow all to collect.
Thursday’s round saw 88 players taking part in the single stableford with Drew Glasson and Greg McCoy again fighting out the result, with Paul Ryan poking his nose in with all recording a round of 39 points. Drew came out on top to collect the Dolphin Day Shirt sponsored by the V Wall Tavern. Greg was next in the countback with Paul to receive the runners-up prize.
Division 2 was taken out by Don Atkinson playing off 31. Don put together a round of 36 points as did Mark Nugent (20), Don having the better countback.
Nearest the pins for the round went to Kel McGoldrick, Warren Fuller, Mike Bennett, Greg McCoy, Bernie Dugdale, Nicole Purser, and John Hopkins picking up the money shot. Ball rundown went to 33 with just the three to collect and they are Gary Tierney, John McCollum, and Louise Freebrain .
Nathan Smith picked up a birdie at the difficult 9th to earn the newly sponsored hole by Pelicans Landing Garden Centre that will give him a voucher at the nursery.
