The driver is alleged to have failed to negotiate a corner and collided with an embankment. The impact caused the vehicle to flip onto its roof, coming to rest on the road.
The driver was not trapped but suffered minor injuries and was taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital.
The east bound lane was blocked until the scene was cleared and the vehicle towed.
Fire & Rescue attended to contain a minor fluid leak.
Police are awaiting results of mandatory blood tests before taking any further action.
Man assaulted
A 48-year-old man was arrested at Macksville Police Station on Monday following investigations regarding domestic dispute the previous day at a Nambucca Heads residence in which a 50-year-old man was assaulted.
The man was charged with common assault.
He was released on bail to appear before Macksville Local Court on November 23.
Domestic dispute
On Saturday police arrested a 33-year-old man at a Macksville residence following a domestic dispute.
The man was charged at Macksville Police Station with intimidation, damage to property and possess prohibited drug.
He was released on bail to appear before Macksville Local Court on November 15.
Mid range reading
A 53-year-old male driver was arrested in Mann St, Nambucca Heads on Friday about 8:14pm after testing positive to a random breath test. He underwent a breath analysis at Nambucca Heads Police Station and returned a mid range reading of 0.090.
His licence was suspended and he will appear before Macksville Local Court on November 15.
Licence suspension
Following a random breath test at Newee Creek, a 52-year-old man was arrested after testing positive on Tuesday night.
A breath analysis returned a high range reading of 0.208. He was issued a licence suspension and a court attendance notice for November 15.
