Jack Burley weighed in a nice bream of 344g and a mullet to take out the Juniors section. In the Minnows, Stevie Burlie and Noah Sheppard weighed in bream and mullet with Noah taking it out for the month.
Dean Holmes brought in a nice bream to take out the Men’s section while Dave Whalen weighed in a nice kingfish, and Mick Searle came in with a fat whiting of 45cm.
The bass comp is being hotly contested this season, with Dave Whalen taking a win for the month, bringing in five fish up to 50cm. Dean Holmes was hot on his heels with his five up to 48cm. Both these guys are now on 11 points.
Luke Clowe, Dan Clowe and Meaghan Early also submitted fish so first prize is up there for grabs.
The Mystery Fish was flathead and president Dan Clowe took that out with his 40cm catch. $40 went home with Dan that day, so Mystery Fish is back to $20 for this coming month.
The members’ draw jackpotted to $60 – as Jackson Warner wasn’t there on the day to collect.
For the November Competition (from Friday through to Sunday), the weigh-in will be down at the Lions Park from midday until 1pm. The club will cook sausages and steak for sandwiches – free to all members – under the gazebo.
Inquiries, call Dan Clowe on 0400 425-974.
