The event last year was a Bellingen Shire Lions Club Centenary Project organised by the combined churches of the town with music and carols enjoyed by all.
And so it will be again this year … tomorrow night, Thursday, from 6.30pm, in the grounds of St Margaret’s Anglican Church.
There will be seating for 140 plus extra standing room outside on the footpath and in the car parking areas. The street will not be closed as it was last year.
The Bellingen Lions Club president will flick the switch on the lights at 6.30 – carols and entertainment will follow and raffle tickets will be on sale.
Cafes and restaurants around the town will be open for those wanting to have dinner afterwards.
AS well as St Margaret’s, the combined churches also includes St Mary’s Catholic Church, Bellingen Uniting Church, House of Hope and Christian Gathering.
PLEASE NOTE: the Courier Sun will be unable to be there to take photos BUT we welcome any you send us. Just email them to ute.schulenberg@fairfaxmedia.com.au (Janene Carey is on leave)
