Hat Head finished in 14th place at the event held at South West Rocks on the weekend, 10 spots higher than Macleay rivals South West Rocks and Kempsey-Cresent Head, who shared 24th position.
Hat Head’s excellent results came on the back of their sheer numbers and dominant showings in the Masters division.
The Lawler family, made up of brothers Grant and Sean and their respective wives Melina and Kylie, contributed 69 points to Hat Head’s total score of 114.
