Rovers haven’t taken to the field since their January 20 victory over Wauchope RSL due to the Australia Day Long Weekend break followed by Rovers’ second bye of the season.
The Premier League side sits in sixth position on the ladder but they remain in striking distance of a finals spot with five rounds remaining in the regular season.
However, the challenges don’t come much tougher then Macquarie, who have only lost two games this season.
The Rovers side is hopeful they can continue their mid-season resurgence after a slow-start to the competition.
Rovers currently sit five-competition points behind United and Nulla, who are tired for third on the ladder.
Nulla’s Premier League side has been riding the highs but the weather prevented them from capitalising on the good position they put themselves in last weekend.
Nulla had dismissed United for 131 in the 37th over but a downfall of rain during the innings break led to the cancellation of the match.
Nulla’s spot in the top four is on the line when they face Port City League Magpies on Saturday.
Nulla were defeated in convincing fashion the last time these two sides met.
The Magpies surpassed the total Nulla had set for them in the 19th over as they cruised to victory.
