Minor premiers Rovers Regional Finance suffered a loss against in-club rivals Rovers West Kemspey Hotel in the grand final qualifier in the two-day match.
Rovers West Kempsey Hotel reached an imposing 194 in their 50 overs before their bowling attack restricted their opponents to 43 runs before they scored 178 after forced to follow on.
Ky Dunbar-Rudd was the pick of Rovers West Kempsey Hotel’s bowlers, destroying the opposition with figures of 2/4 and 4/41 for the match.
Rovers West Kempsey Hotel booked their place in the final after reaching the 33-runs required in their second innings for no loss.
Rovers Regional Finance’s season remains alive and they will play Frederickton this weekend after they were too strong for Nulla C & G Electrics.
Frederickton were superb in the win as they dominated with both the bat and ball.
Frederickton won by an innings and 89 runs as Nulla C & G Electrics failed to build any momentum.
