The owners of 19 vans ranging in length from 11 foot six (3.5m) to 21 feet (6.4m) in length set up camp at the popular seaside holiday park.
The majority of the vans were made from fibreglass during the 1960s, however one member is the proud owner of a rare 1959 aluminium model.
The group enjoyed dinner at Crescent Head Country Club on Saturday night but otherwise kept the weekend’s agenda in terms of organised activities to a minimum.
Instead, they simply relaxed and made the most of the pristine environment.
Vintage Olympic Caravans admin Kim Bayne said members had a lovely time in perfect weather conditions.
“People collect them and do it for good old fun,” she said.
“It brings back memories of our childhood – going with families and friends on holidays.
“That’s what people are looking for.”
Mrs Bayne said some members are now introducing their families to the hobby and enjoying trips with their children and grandchildren.
“It’s good old fashioned fun and the vans are coming back in.”
The group held a national meeting at South West Rocks in 2017 and will meet again at Wangaratta on Painters Island next month.
