Matthew Baker has been appointed as the Coaching Coordinator and he will oversee the football operations of all 45 Saints teams.
Baker has announced Luke Flanagan, Brett Sutherland, James Brady, Amy O’Brien and Alex Breckell join Sinclair as senior coaches of their respective sides.
Baker appointed Toby O’Brien as senior trainer to run specialised drills and assist coaching staff of all senior grades.
Michael Mikolojczyk, who is highly regarded by the club, is also back as goalkeeper coach for the Under 15 and over goalkeepers. This session runs first Tuesday of every month from April to September.
The Saints are represented in 19 of the 20 Football Mid North Coast competitions and have multiple teams in most age groups.
Saints’ Premier League side heads into the season opener with Wauchope full of confidence after defeating the side 2-1 on Tuesday night in the FFA Cup second round.
The Saints were under pressure for the opening 30-minutes but their defence held firm and they were able to turn the tables for the final 15-minutes heading into half-time.
Tristan Smith opened the scoring with a tap in before Jaime Wright doubled Kempsey’s lead early in the second half.
Wauchope didn’t die wondering as they pressed forward and hit the woodwork twice before they got one back to set up a grand stand finish.
Saints held on to advance to the third round of the national competition.
“The 2018 Wauchope outfit looks much sharper than last year and any club that turns up at Wauchope expecting easy points is in for a surprise,” Saints first grade coach Kevin Sinclair said.
Saturday’s rematch kicks off at 3pm at Wauchope.
Saints’ junior side have to wait another week for their competition to start on April 13 and 14.
Baker is finalising coaches for the last few teams but most have started training.
Saints will hold another full club clinic for juniors this year.
The annual shirt presentation will be held for the senior grades at the West Kempsey Hotel on Friday evening at 6pm.
