Today was the first Kempsey Show Mrs Wale has attended as a spectator in close to three decades and while she misses her role, she’s enjoying being able to relax and enjoy the show.
“Normally I am here at 7am and running around getting the final things together,” Mrs Wale told the Argus.
“But this year I got to enjoy a sleep in. It’s nice to be able to just enjoy the next two days with no job commitments.”
Mrs Wale has been attending the Kempsey Show her entire life and her father and grandfather are the two longest serving Kempsey Show Society presidents.
“My father, Jack Jeffery, is the second longest serving president and my grandfather, James Antliffe, is the longest serving president,” Mrs Wale said.
Mrs Wale sat back, relaxed and enjoyed the show.
