A fire destroyed a home on West Street South Kempsey this morning, April 11.

The Kempsey Fire and Rescue unit received a 000 call at 7.47am and arrived on the scene at 8am to find the home fully involved in the fire.
All occupants were out of the one-storey building and the fire and rescue team battled the blaze with two hose lines, one at the front and one at the back of the property.
The home was fully extinguished by 9.25am.
Three fire trucks and the Hazmat from Port Macquarie were used to extinguish the house fire.
The cause of the fire is currently under police investigation.
