CHILL OUT SPACE
Another highlight will be the Youth Chill Out Space at the show on Saturday from 5 to 9pm, launching the shire’s Youth Week events.
On stage will be Natalie Brandolini plus the six-piece African boy band from Coffs Harbour, The Brothers, with members from DR Congo and Eritrea.
With the support of local artist development program Grow the Music, this striking pop outfit have written many songs inspired by their experiences coming to Australia as refugees. The show is a warm-up for the launch of their debut EP “Upendo” which is Swahili for ‘love’ on Sunday, April 29.
There will also be open mic, free water and free health information.
2NVR RADIO
Presenters from Nambucca Valley Radio, 2NVR, will be on the ground broadcasting their programs ‘live’ from the show all day.
Come along and meet the presenters who bring you the variety of programs you hear on your local Community Radio station. They would love to meet and chat with you! You can also support the station by becoming a member of 2NVR, either as a Full Member or an Associate Member.
Those who join as a Full Member (cost is $20 a year) have voting rights at general meetings and AGM’s and will also receive a tote bags of ‘goodies’ worth $20 upon payment of their membership.
