As part of their studies on farming, students from Tallowood Steiner School’s class 1-2-3 visited Autarky Farm, a local organic farm in Bowraville.

Children learned that chickens are essential in bug control; hand-picked watermelons and eggplants; discovered how the garlic-planter and the tractors work; practiced some mathematical skills whilst observing the hay-baler and even enjoyed a potato harvesting treasure-hunt.
