Rangers’ convincing win is the biggest score line of any match this season and it came against last season’s grand finalists.
Kempsey Saints White have proved to be a tough team to beat this year which makes the Rangers’ efforts even more impressive.
The victory came on the back of great leadership from the Tamblyn sisters, with Heidi holding down the defence as they kept a clean sheet while Emma proved a force up front and snared a hat-trick.
The win lifts the Rangers into equal first position on the ladder with fellow rivals Kempsey Saints Green.
The Saints Green team were held to a 2-2 draw with the defending premiers Wauchope Waratahs on the weekend.
It was the first game the Green side has conceded a goal this season and they hold an advantage over the Rangers in the goal differential bracket.
The Rangers will look to continue their momentum into this weekend’s match with Port FC while Saints Green face the Port United Strikers and Saints White are up against the South West Rocks Stingers.
The Upper Macleay Yowies face Wauchope.
